Photosynthetic

Photosynthetic is a deep-tech startup (founded 2018, based in Amsterdam) that has developed a breakthrough microfabrication technology called Volumetric Micro-Lithography, enabling mass production of complex 3D microstructures at unprecedented speeds.

Their patented 3D printing method achieves submicron resolution (features smaller than one micron) while printing up to 1,000 times faster than conventional two-photon lithography, completing in minutes what traditionally takes hours. By merging high precision with mass-production speeds, their technology bridges the gap between traditional 3D printing and nano-scale fabrication, unlocking applications across biotechnology, medical devices, aerospace, and beyond — including microneedles for drug delivery, microfluidic devices, tissue engineering scaffolds, and photonic circuits.
